The urge to do something. She was tired of being cooped up in her room, she wanted to get out and stretch and enjoy the nice weather outside. It was just starting to warm up outside and the Spring time brought all the blossoms out in the Garden. It was a nice place to escape to and get away. Though she really didn’t have anything to escape from in her dorm room. She was still waiting for a new roommate and she hadn’t been assigned one yet. Sure, it was nice to have the room to herself – but Kennedy really hated being alone so much. When she was alone, all she did was think and remember and it was things that she didn’t want to think about, nor did she want to remember.
So, here she sat in the middle of the Garden at St. John’s just admiring the spring blooms and the fresh air and the hot sun that seemed to be beating down on her pale skin. She had moved in to the shade, knowing that she’d be pissed at herself if she got a sunburn. It wasn’t like she could actually tan; she was far too pale for that. She would burn and then she’d be white again. She had grown accustomed to this cycle and refrained from being in the sun for too long.
She had to admit the flowers were rather pretty and she thought for a brief moment that she should invest in a camera. It would give her something new to explore and try out. She hadn’t ever really been interested in photography, but it was worth giving it a shot. What was the worst that could happen out of it? Kennedy liked to try new things to see if she’d be any good at them, and most of the time it just turned out to be an epic failure. But, she didn’t let it bother her. She tried things until she found something she liked or enjoyed and then she would move along to something else when it would bore her. That was just how she seemed to operate, it was the only thing that could possibly keep her mind off of the other things it could think about.
Biting down on her bottom lip, she realized that she should probably think of something that could occupy her time now. She was eighteen and she would only be allowed to stay at St. John’s for another two years before it was time to move on. She had to think about what she was going to do. How was she going to get back on her feet? She would have to find some sort of job to go out in to the world on her own. Shaking her head, she didn’t want to really think about that right now. Something would come to her when the time was right.
Pushing the thoughts to the back of her mind, she let her deep blue gaze move about the garden, enjoying the peace and quiet that seemed to settle over it. The air seemed fresher than usual, Kennedy took a few deep breathes enjoying the way it filled her lungs and then slowly exhaled. If only every day could be like this; life would be close to perfect.

Ashton stared at the computer screen. it was absolutely dead. no one was around. No one was in the chat. Nothing. caput. peter was busy, working on something he was sure. A song. One he couldnt hear until it was done and that was going to drive him nuts. Well only when he thought about it, which was now because he was thinking about peter working on it. He really needed a distraction. He chewed his lip and blinked again. then as if she knew weight was now plopped into his lap and he looked down. Luna rubbed against his chest, instantly purring. He could feel the vibrations of her motor against his chest, she was so loud when she purred.
hey luna muna.. he ran long fingers over her head and down her back to her tail. Her back arched into his hand as it moved over her. He smirked and scratched behind her year and then down just under her chin. Her purring got louder as she pressed into the scratching. He knew she loved that, it was her weakness. He smirked and let out a slight laugh. mm... you've been a bit restless lately... how bout i take you with me tonight.. you can see hobo and bogart.he said to her. Luna seemed to press into him more moving her head and ashton could easily say she was agreeing with him. Luna liked to play with the dogs, tease them and she hadnt gotten to see them for a week or two. Well tonight shed get to.
He lifted her up setting her onto the desk and she meowed in protest. i wanna get up. he said standing and stretching long arms above his head and stretching his back out, his shirt lifting a bit as he did so before releasing the stretch and sighing. He felt stiff, maybe a good walk would help. Ashton didnt even bother to check himself in the mirror, he had no need to he was just going out and he knew what he looked like. Ashton did like to make sure things werent out of place but at the same time he rarely checked his appearance. He knew what it would look like and it would never change. Glancing around he made sure his room was in order, the nothing out of place and the bed made. Other then luna stretching out on his pillow everything seemed fine. dont make a mess he warned her walking over towards the bed to kind of give her body a nudge and she rolled over for him. He grinned as he started to tickle/scratch her stomach. At first she stretched to it but then she was meowing and attacking his hand hugging it to her as she used her back paws to claw him and she bit at him. He laughed lightly. ow ow own he pulled his hand away pointing a finger at her and she stopped then he tried to catch her paw which after some bites he finally caunt and he started to rub his fingers in a circular motion over it. SHe instantly started to calm down. He didnt know what it was, but somehow hed found this about her. If she started getting out of hand he just had to get her paw and massage it and she seemed to relax. Granted she hadnt been out of hand they always played like that but he figured it was calming for her so he did it anyway.
Grabbing his black cabby hat and placing it on his head he headed out, making sure to lock the door. H e glanced around him. No one was in the halls. He gave one more glance before stepping away and heading down and out of the building. It was really nice out. His white t-shirt and black vest werent too heavy which he was thankful for. He didnt want to attract the sun too much even if he normally was cold he also didnt like being overly hot.
Putting his hands in the pockets of his jeans he started walking. He had no destination in mind though he wished he had something else to take over the thoughts in his mind. He would randomly say something to himself out loud before moving back to the conversation in his head. Sometimes ashton wondered if it was normal to talk to himself.. well he knew that people did but sometimes he wasnt so sure that the separate voice in his head was actually part of him or if it was really a separate part in him, if that made sense. He didnt like listening to it. He was surprised peter didnt find him crazy since a few times he was sure he went off on himself in front of him, though that had mostly happened when he first met peter. it hadnt been so bad now. That had felt like ages ago.
It wasnt long before he found himself in the gardens. His brows rose as he looked around him. He thought maybe he should have stopped by peters to get the dogs, maybe they would have liked to come out. Oh well too late now. As he continued on he noticed another figure in the garden. His brows rose as he took in her figure, dark hair and paled complexion. He didnt remember ever seeing her before maybe she was new. Ashton didnt like new people.
He thought about ignoring her, but he was looking for a distraction. flower kind of girl?he asked, his deep monotone conveying more of a dry sarcasm.

D O N ‘ T K N O W W H A T W E N T W R O N G FEELS LIKE A HUNDRED YEARS I S T I L L C A N ‘ T B E L I E V E Y O U ‘ R E G O N E Kennedy let her hands move over the soft blades of grass. She usually wasn’t an outdoorsy type of girl, mostly because she didn’t like dirt and she hated bugs, but today she made an exception. She sat quietly, humming a soft tune to herself. She hadn’t felt this relaxed in quite some time, so it was a little bit of a relief to her. She could sit out here and not have to worry about her past, because nature couldn’t question her about why she was here, or any other questions that she didn’t like answering.
Sitting in the shade was a really good idea. It was becoming a little hot even where she sat, under the shadow of a large tree. Kennedy wasn’t much of a sweater, so she really didn’t have to worry about being drenched in sweat, but if she got too hot, sometimes she became a bit irritable – and she didn’t like that at all. She preferred to be in a good mood, because then she wouldn’t focus on the bad stuff. She could divert her attention elsewhere, and that was usually why she did a lot of the things she had done in the past.
Change. She snickered a bit at the word. It was something she had started to work on, but it was a daunting task. Kennedy was well aware of the problem she had and she severely wanted to change that. She didn’t want to depend on anything, she didn’t want to feel the emptiness inside of her anymore. Biting down on her bottom lip, she leaned back on her elbows, and tilted her head up slightly to stare up in to the slowly swaying tree above her.
Her attention was brought away from the tree to a figure that approached her. Her bright blue eyes took in the slender form of the guy walking towards her. Her lips pursed slightly as she took him in, completely. It was one of her many little quirks. She liked to check a person out completely, pick them apart and put them back together again. The guy that approaching her now was attractive. But it wasn’t in that, stop traffic, I’m an underwear model kind of attractive. No, it was more subtle than that. It was something that she was sure some people couldn’t see, because no one dared to look hard enough.
He was fairly tall, taller than her for sure, and he was thin. Some would say, probably, too thin. His medium brown hair was covered by a cabby hat that seemed to fit him rather nicely. His complexion was pale, much like her own and it only seemed to be offset by the white t-shirt and black vest he wore over his torso. The shirt hugged his body in certain areas, giving her a hint of what layed beneath it. He had a long torso, she noted and his legs were about average in length; not too long and not too short.
Her blue gaze moved to his face, he was quite handsome, now that she got to see his face closer now. Kennedy tilted her head to the side slightly. His eyes were the color of milk chocolate, at that thought she scrunched up her nose a little, she wasn’t much a fan of chocolate, but the color suited him well. His lips seemed to catch her attention, they were full and pink and it brought a slight grin to her face. Shaking away the thought, she didn’t much care that she was staring. If people didn’t like it, well, she didn’t really care.
She was caught off guard when he spoke to her, she arched a perfectly shaped eyebrow at him and smirked a little at his words, Not quite. She pressed her lips together and crossed her legs at the ankles. Just felt like getting away… She shrugged her shoulders and looked up at him curiously. She hadn’t met too many people at St. John’s yet, but something told her that this was going to be an experience.[/blockquote][/sup] A N D I D O N ‘ T N E E D Y O U H E R E
