kholden made his way down the trail the sound of his camera clicking as he took shot after shot of his surroundings. Today was beautiful, the weather was great and the sun was filtering through the leaves of the trees making pretty patterns on the ground and anywhere it touched. He liked going down this trail, he knew it was called the 'romantic' trail but he liked to use it for capturing the life that lived in it. Sometimes he would come across 'young love' and capture it.
Kholden stopped taking a break as he changed his film. Sometimes he could get lost in taking pictures, for as much as he did it people probably wondered what more he could take, but he always found something new. Life was never the same on a daily basis. He pulled his phone out to check the time as he leaned against one of the trees. Nearby there was a bench that someone had decided to put along here once the trail started to be used more and more.
A small smirk pulled at the corner of his lips as he got an idea. Pulling carsons name up he selected to send a message. Last he knew he was taking rylee to the park, but he wasnt sure if they were still there. Rylee didnt get to stay out too much mostly because it was hard on her with too much excitement and exertion. It was a shame she was a little girl and it broke his heart that things had to hold her back from doing too much. That should never have to happen.
Hey there babay! do you think peter would watch rylee for a bit? and you could come meet me down the trail? Im about half way... ill wait here for you
he hit send and then put it into his pocket. He hoped carson would be able to come. If he had to bring rylee that was okay too, kholden loved his little girl how could he not she was a part of carson and she was an amazing kid. Carson had definitely gotten lucky having kid like her. He just thought some time with carson alone would be really nice right now. Especially considering how nice it was out.
Kholden glanced around, so far he hadnt seen anyone on the trail yet and right now he was glad for it. His smirk turned to a grin and he looked around for a good hiding spot. His eyes settled on a fairly decent sized bush. He stepped off of the trail and around a tree finding a comfortable position behind the bush. This would do. He would wait for carson to come. He laughed a bit to himself as the voice of the crocodile hunter entered his head. Carson wasnt much for having his picture taken. kholden liked taking pictures of him, both he and peter just had these faces and the looks that they portrayed even without realizing it he just really liked capturing them.

Carson sat on his bed, Rylee in his lap. She had wanted to watch The Sandlot and Carson wasn't in the mood to complain. The Sandlot was actually one of the few movies Carson found that he could stand watching more than once. By the end of the movie the dark-haired little girl in his lap had rested her head against his chest and fallen asleep. Carson stared at the screen, transfixed by the ending of the movie. His favorite part was when Babe Ruth appeared in a dream to Benny "The Jet" Rodriguez. Heroes are remembered, but legends never die. That line usually gave Carson a lot to think about. He had some things to consider, none of which were really good for anyone but him, though Carson was convinced they were good for everyone else too.
Licking his lips Carson looked down to his phone, which was laying on the bed beside him. It had buzzed a few minutes ago, but he had been too into the movie to look at it. Carson saw the name that appeared on the screen and sighed. It wasn't that Carson didn't like getting texts from Kholden. Mostly it was that most of the time he felt bad because he never replied right away. Carson slowly reached down so that he didn't wake Rylee and opened the message. He smirked at what the message said. Kholden was really too good for him. Carson knew that Kholden wanted more alone time with him, but with Rylee that was hard to get sometimes. Usually Kholden was all good about understanding things.
He will. I'll be right there.
Carson didn't bother with asking Peter or anything. He never asked Peter. It was a matter of showing up and being forceful enough. He tried to move so that he could let Rylee lay on the bed and sleep while he got ready. Carson changed shirts and pulled off his sweat pants to trade in for a pair of blue jeans. He turned back to look at Rylee. She was still in her blue and yellow Snoopy pajamas. Oh well, that was going to be Peter's problem. Carson slipped his shoes on and grabbed some clothes for Rylee and the bag full of stuff Peter might need while he watched her. Carson slowly picked Rylee up, carrying the child in his arms bridal style. Her head bobbed a little before finally resting against his arm. Carson looked down at her and smiled a little.
It wasn't every day that Carson smiled. Smiles didn't come naturally to him. He walked down the hall, stopping in front of his twin brother's door. Carson sometimes felt bad for the way he treated Peter, but it wasn't too often that he felt bad. He tried to tell himself that it was necessary that he treat Peter this way. Carson knocked only once before Peter opened the door. He wasted no time in shoving Rylee in Peter's arms. You're watching her. Don't you fucking say you can't either. You're going to take this little girl who happens to be your goddamn neice and you're going to fucking watch her until I come back. You understand? Huh, bitch? Nod for yes, Peter.
Carson hated the hurt look that was on his brother's face, but Peter nodded and it was done. Pete didn't say much, but he closed the door and Carson knew that it was done. Carson shook his head and began walking toward the trail. It wasn't like Peter had a boyfriend to make happy. Carson didn't think Peter could make a boyfriend completely happy if he tried. He pocketed his hands and thought as he walked about whether or not he made his own boyfriend happy. Nah, Kholden would tell him if he wasn't happy. By the time Carson was finished with his thoughts he was already at the trail. Kholden knew what Carson thought of the "Romantic" trail. He wasn't a big fan of it, but that was only because of the romantic attachment to it.
After walking for a bit Carson finally saw Kholden. He tilted his head, slowing his walk down a bit. Well... I'm here. Carson said, breaking the silence that had only been filled by the clicking of Kholden's camera. Carson was very supportive of Kholden's photography, but he really did hate having his picture taken.
