I SEE RIGHT THROUGH YOU
( whoa, i've got secrets too. )
[/center]A quiet rumble in the distance made Zane look up only once at the skies. It seemed like it was going to rain. His pale pink lips curved downwards at the sound. He actually wanted it to be sunny and clear, so he could attempt somewhat of a tan. He was such a pale kid and he sort of regretted not listen to his gran lecture him on going outside more often. His frown deepened at the memory as he sighed. "Maybe the rain will come around faster. I kinda want to go run in it," mumbling quietly to himself, Zane glanced around at the park. A few people were still milling about, probably blissfully unaware of the oncoming storm in the distance.
Or maybe they knew about it, but didn't care. They would probably laugh and go dance in the rain, like Zane would probably do once it actually started to pour. He was just that kind of person. He never liked being one of those whiny people, he would know. He had tried it when he was first starting out on his own, it never got him anywhere, so he stopped. The peppier and happier Zane seemed to others, the more likely they were to approach him and he could talk to them. It was so much more fun to make new friends, rather than sit around and complain about not having any. It was just something that Zane liked to do. He liked making new friends, regardless of what they were like the first time he met them.
If they were completely shy and quiet, Zane would try to be somewhat more subdued. Try being the key word. It didn't usually work, but he did occasionally befriend someone who didn't do much talking. Humming to himself, Zane continued to walk aimlessly through the park. He'd eventually come to something interesting, he just needed to find it first. The rumbling in the distance seemed to get louder, and the people that were milling around looked up at the skies with frowns that obviously meant they noticed. They all started to pack up whatever they had in their hands, and run off to areas with overhangs and even their cars. Zane's lips upturned at the sight.
"Sweet! Everyone's leaving and now I won't look like an idiot when I start dancing in the rain!" With a wide smile on his face, Zane happily skipped toward a park bench underneath a tree to wait for the rain to fall. His eyes were wide with glee, making the brown colored orbs seem childlike in their appearance. His dark brown hair seemed to fluff and frizz with the upcoming extra humidity, making his usual tamed mess even more of a disaster. Zane didn't quite care at the moment, he was happy and totally content in waiting for the rain to fall so he could go off and dance in the rain once it started.
