Finn was kind of tall, standing at 5’10 and skinny. It wasn’t like he was horrid skinny, his skinny actually was… skinny firm and worked well for his frame. Outside of that he was usually always wearing some variation of black clothing, he wasn’t emo or goth, it was just the favored color he chose. Not even sure if he actually owns something a different color outside of black. That mixed with his quiet tendencies he was pretty good at sneaking up on people or fading into the background. Granted he wasn’t exactly a completely nobody, people noticed him… if they saw him there. If not he could probably sit a long time without a word and not one person would notice him unless they were paying attention. This was good for finn though. This was actually what he preferred. He never really got how people noticed or liked to be around him. He thought himself a background person as it was so it would always surprise him when people did notice. Plus he liked to people watch… so being part of the scenery was good.
He hunched down a bit into his jacket. Finn loved his jacket, it was definitely unique at least hed never seen it before. He had found it really, back behind a building where a concert had been. He was sure it was some famous persons. Probably was smashed and didn’t remember dropping it or discarding it. It didtn matter it was his now and he wouldn’t trade it in. hed probably wear it til it could not be worn any longer.
The weather was actually quite nice. The sun was out and other then the slightly cool breeze that attacked them every once and while, it was definitely a day that people decided they would all come out to enjoy. Finn sat in the yard of the building, back pressed against a tree, knees up and his hands resting between them and his belly. At random times he would reach down and pick a few tufts of grass and then bring his hand back between him and tug at them, ripping them in half, hazel eyes watching as people walked by, coming and going from the building as well. Finn had nice eyes, they werent the hazel type that were bright with light colors like bluish or greenish. They were more the of the darker hazel, with the light browns with the maroon and green mixed in. Sometimes his eyes even got a darker brown and even went to a mix of greenish brown. they had more the light gold brown hue to it right now.
Finn was content just sitting there, doing nothing but watching. Most people would find it boring, but Finn didnt really think of it that way. He found peoples behaviors interesting. He liked hearing what they were saying. Sometimes if he would even come up with stories about the people himself. He could entertain himself for quite a while doing that. Dont get him wrong though, if he decided to get up and do something more active, he was all for that too. It wasnt like it was all he ever did.
As time passed Finn started to wish he had brought something to drink with him. Unfortunately unless he were an animal and liked to eat grass for its very slight moisture, there was nothing he had with him. He glanced around, sighing a bit. Maybe hed get up... soon. Maybe...
He moved his eyes back to the sidewalk. A girl hed seen pass by here nearly every day went past. Normally she had her nose in a book but today she had a worried expression. He noticed she was turning something on her finger and he saw it was a ring, most likely a wedding band... or maybe even a promise ring. It was on her ring finger though. He watched her walk past. He wondered if she just found out her spouse was cheating on her... or maybe he was on his deathbed. No ... she would be visiting him. He figured it was most likely the first one.
He tilted his head, his eyes still watching her. SHe was pretty and he could tell she was those type of people that were always willing to help out, soft spoken, and probably worked at a job that she was helping people with. She wore thin, black framed glasses and her hair was always either in a pony tail or a braid. She seriously looked like she stepped out of a book like little women or something. She wore light colored blouses with shawls or sweaters over her shoulders when the weather wasnt horrid and long ankle length Skirts. She wore flat soled shoes. Today... she wore a dark blue blouse with a black skirt. Her hair was up in a pony tail but there were strays everywhere. She didnt look herself today.
Finn knew she didnt deserve the hardship she was having. She had probably been an easy target, the guy probably had been cheating for a while. P robably liked how obliviously in love she was with him. He frowned slightly. He hoped whoever he had cheated on wasnt someone she knew. He frowned even further. He could almost feel the pang of familiar pain in his chest. He remembered the feeling and he didnt want her to have to go through that. If he had powers hed take it from her, he had gone through it once... he would go through it again for someone else so they wouldnt have to. Especially someone that he liked to think was exactly like he thought she would be like. He didnt want her to be changed, to lose some kind of innocent faith about any ideals that used to patter along in her head about life or love or anything. He wanted her to stay the same.
It was an impossible want, but for once hed like to see that. He really would...

Post by JACKSON 'JAX' NAVARRO on Jun 14, 2010 14:49:31 GMT -5
Jax was just getting back from his buddy’s house. They had been practicing for the last three hours and they still weren’t getting the new song he wrote, right. It was starting to irritate him a little bit and normally that wasn’t Jax. He was always cool and collected. Everyone else was usually freaking out about the chords and the rhythm of the bass and the sound of the drums in the background – instead it was him. Maybe it had to do with the mood he was in, he had just gotten word about his father being paroled. And part of him was hooked up on that,w hile the other part was desperately trying to push it to the back of his mind.
He had hitched a ride with one of his band mates on the way to Carter’s house, but he had decided to walk back to St. John’s after the colossal argument that happened before he left. They were all stressed though, he couldn’t really blame it on one particular thing. They had a gig at a small club in town and they wanted to get the new song down in order to play it during their set. The rate things were going it wasn’t going to happen and Jax was pretty set on this song. It was his most complicated one yet and he figured that was probably why it was giving them such problems.
Shrugging the thought away, he shoved his hands in the front pockets of his faded blue jeans, his blue graphic tee hugged to his chest like most of his shirts did. He laughed at the thought, back when he was in middle school he used to wear clothes that were literally falling off of his ass and now, now he was wearing his clothes tighter than most girls wore theirs. He snickered and ran a hand over his black hair – it was only the eighth time he’d changed it up lately. Jax was never satisfied with the way he looked and was always changing something; whether it was altering the length or the color of it. And even sometimes, when his hair wasn’t doing the trick for him he’d end up at the tattoo parlor and get something inked on him instead.
Walking towards the main building of St. John’s he noticed a familiar face sitting and watching as people passed him by. Jax grinned a little and headed over towards him. He needed something to lighten up his mood and he figured that Finn might be able to do that. Approaching him, he plopped down next to him and gave a smalls mile, “Hey Finn… what’cha up to man?” He questioned, his brown eyes moving around the people moving around in front of St. John’s.
